Aaron Eckhouse

Aaron Eckhouse has worked for six years at California YIMBY promoting policies to create more affordable, sustainable, and inclusive communities. He has worked on landmark housing legislation from SB 50 to SB 9, and on policy areas including transit oriented development, missing middle housing, parking reform, impact fees, and historic preservation. He currently leads work on engaging pro-housing local elected officials and supporting successful local implementation of state housing policies. Aaron has worked on local pro-housing policies and effective implementation of state law in cities including Berkeley, Ceres, Fremont, Mountain View, Sunnyvale, Walnut Creek, and West Hollywood. He lives in Oakland, where he is a regular at the farmers market and East Bay Bike Party.
