Eduardo Mendoza

Eduardo Mendoza is the Policy Director for the Livable Communities Initiative and a professional city planner based in Los Angeles. He is an active member of Santa Monica Forward and the Parking Reform Network. Mendoza holds a Master’s degree in Planning from USC’s Price School of Public Policy. He currently serves on the board of Abundant Housing Los Angeles (c3 and c4) and is the former Board Chair for Inclusive Santa Monica, as well as the Transportation & Equity and Elections Committees on the Palms Neighborhood Council. Mendoza is deeply committed to promoting equity and making cities more inclusive, believing that urban spaces should serve all residents, regardless of background. As a demographer, he has collaborated with organizations such as the Children’s Hospital Foundation, Lucile Packard Foundation, and Haynes Foundation. His work has been featured in publications like Cityscape and Slate Magazine.
